Structure Fire

On Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at approximately 2pm Smith River Fire was dispatched to a structure fire in the residential area of the Ship Ashore.

The occupant of the home was able to get out safely and summon assistance.

With the assistance and support of Fort Dick Fire, Cal Fire, Harbor Fire and Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation, we were able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other structures.
